Safety information
Explora helps you structure health questions and prepare for clinical visits. It is informational health research assistance. Explora does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or give medical advice.
Emergencies
If you think you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call local emergency services first (for example 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or 112 in the EU). Explora is not for emergencies.
If you describe urgent warning signs while researching, Explora stops and shows emergency numbers. When things are calmer, you can return to explore patterns and prepare questions for a visit.
What Explora is
- A way to turn everyday health concerns into a short research list and visit notes.
- A timeline that remembers what you explored, separate from a scattered chat thread.
- Ideas to explore with your own AI chat and clearer questions for a qualified clinician.
What Explora is not
- Not a diagnosis, prescription, treatment plan, or second opinion from a doctor.
- Not a replacement for emergency services or in-person clinical judgment.
- Not an AI chat. You use your own chat, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, and you press Send every time.
- Not a silent pull of someone else's medical chart. Clinic records follow rights you already have. See Family records in Privacy.
Family research
Explora sign-in is for adults. You may research for a child, parent, partner, or other family member to organize questions, not to diagnose them or change medicines on your own. For children, clinic records follow parent or guardian rights. For other adults, only with their permission.
Public notices and headlines
Research headlines and regulator notices are links for reading. Always verify on official sources before changing care, food, or medicines.
Using Explora well
- Bring your research list and notes to a qualified clinician. They decide what applies to you.
- Treat every idea as something to explore, not a conclusion about your health.
- Keep separate timelines when you research for more than one person in your household.
