Terms of use

These Terms govern your access to Explora at explora.health, including the research hub, guide, and related features. By using Explora, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: 2026-07-27. This is a provisional consumer terms summary for the current Free research product. Outside counsel will ratify a full Terms of use before paid plans, clinical record connects, and broader geographic marketing. It is not legal advice.

Explora is not medical care

Explora provides informational health research assistance and visit preparation. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or create a doctor-patient relationship. Always confirm with a qualified clinician. In an emergency, call local emergency services (for example 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or 112 in the EU), not Explora.

Read Safety information for product boundaries.

Who may use Explora

Explora accounts are for adults. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. You may research for someone you care for under your account. Minors do not get their own Explora login. See Family records in Privacy.

Your AI chat

Explora does not run the AI chat for you. You use your own chat, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, and you press Send. That host's terms and privacy policy apply to the chat. Explora does not store those chat transcripts.

Accounts and acceptable use

  • Keep your login credentials and magic-link email secure.
  • Do not attempt to access another adult's clinic records without their permission or lawful proxy rights.
  • Do not misuse Explora to harass, scam, scrape at scale, reverse engineer for competing services, or break the law.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to store or share.

Your content

You keep rights to the research text and notes you enter. You grant Explora a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter about yourself or family members.

Our content and brand

Explora's product, design, trademarks (including Explora and Explora Dynasty™ where used), and documentation remain ours or our licensors'. Do not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service.

Service changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Free limits, waitlist offers, and planned paid features may change. We will update these Terms or related notices when material changes ship.

Disclaimers

Explora is provided as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Research ideas can be incomplete or wrong. Clinicians decide care.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Explora and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Explora will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Explora in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars, if you use only Free features.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law. Governing law and venue will be stated when counsel finalizes these Terms.
